Please pray for our family as we grieve the loss of my mom.

What should have been a time of coming together has instead been one of the most painful seasons of our lives. We were excluded from saying goodbye, from her funeral, and from the moments that mattered most—and that’s something my children and I are still trying to process.

There’s also a deep layer of church hurt in all of this. A local church that was involved in the arrangements had the opportunity to lead with compassion and unity, but instead allowed division and exclusion to take place. When I tried to go to leadership for clarity and support, I left feeling dismissed rather than cared for.

We’re asking for prayer as we try to make sense of everything, recover personal belongings, and find some kind of peace in the middle of so many unanswered questions.

Please pray for my children especially, for healing in our hearts, and for truth and accountability to come to light in the right way.
