Please pray for our family as we grieve the loss of my mom.

What should have been a time of coming together has instead been one of the most painful seasons of our lives. We were excluded from saying goodbye, from her funeral, and from the moments that mattered most—and that’s something my children and I are still trying to process.

There’s also a deep layer of church hurt in all of this. A local church that was involved in the arrangements had the opportunity to lead with compassion and unity, but instead allowed division and exclusion to take place. When I tried to go to leadership for clarity and support, I left feeling dismissed rather than cared for.

We’re asking for prayer as we try to make sense of everything, recover personal belongings, and find some kind of peace in the middle of so many unanswered questions.

Please pray for my children especially, for healing in our hearts, and for truth and accountability to come to light in the right way.

Dear church family,

I could use your prayers. My father is going through some serious medical issues and we have no answers yet. Im watching him deteriorate before my eyes and I'm watching the toll on my mother. This is one of the hardest things I've ever faced.

I have fibromyalgia and along with it comes migraines. Most of my time is spent at my parents house. Therefore I have constant migraines and flare ups.

I have now missed four Sundays at church. I need my church and I'm fighting an uphill battle. Ive already been told I can't fight this in the flesh but my nature is to "fix things". Please pray that I will learn to handle this yoke over to the Lord.

I gain strength by being in the Lords house, but I can't seem to put one foot in front of the other. By Sunday...im drained.

With seeing patients in my career, I have the opportunity to connect with each person and listen to their victories, hardships, and everyday lives. I am asking for prayer over a patient I had this week who has been struggling after recently losing both their mom and aunt. I could still hear the pain in their voice when speaking about the topic and just ask that everyone lifts this person up in prayer to enable healing of their heart and mind.
