Sunday, June 1 – Stay on Purpose

Scripture: Colossians 1:1-2
“Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, and Timothy our brother, to God’s holy people in Colossae, the faithful brothers and sisters in Christ: Grace and peace to you from God our Father.”

When Paul wrote this letter, he began by reminding the Colossians of their identity and calling. He wasn’t just writing to a crowd—he was speaking to “God’s holy people,” chosen and loved. The first step to living with purpose is remembering who you are and whose you are. You are not random or forgotten. You are called by name and sent by God into your world with intention.

You don’t have to figure out your purpose on your own. Like Paul, you can live confidently knowing you are “by the will of God.” When you root your identity in Christ, purpose follows. Today, take a breath and receive grace and peace. You’re not just surviving—you’re sent.

Journal Reflection:

  • Do I believe I’m living “by the will of God”? Why or why not?
  • What voices shape how I see my purpose?
  • How would my day look different if I fully embraced that I am chosen and sent?
