I have a sweet friend who just had a new Grandbaby; in Illinois. She arrived on Monday. Unfortunately she was born with a birth defect and was air lifted to Children’s hospital in St Louis on Tuesday.  She is stable and her parents are learning how to care for her. She has a cleft palate and recessed lower jaw causing her little tongue to occlude her airway.  Breathing and getting proper nutrition are the goals that this little girl has to face , her parents are learning how to feed her and right now her future care is unknown.
